Hanson Community Preservation Committee Minutes~ July 1, 2009~
Meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m.
Members present:~ Laura FitzGerald- Kemmett, John Kemmett, William Clay , Robert Sears,Bill Strait, Patty Norton, Phlip Lindquist
Not Present~ David Harris, Allan Clemons
Minutes of the~June 17, 2009 were approved: 4-0-3 ~
Old Business
1.~~~~~~ Discussed Hanson Little League’s Pre-application denial.~ Voted 7-0 to send letter to Hanson Youth Baseball drafted by Bob Sears.
2.~~~~~~ Commended Meghan from the Hanson Express for being present and providing the needed coverage of the CPC meetings.
3.~~~~~~ Noted that by July 14th at 5:00 PM completed full applications must be delivered to the acting town administrator’s office.
4.~~~~~~ The pre application deadline expired on June 15th.~ No full applications can be submitted without pre-application approval.
5.~~~~~~ It was noted that copies or the master plan and the open space plan are available at the Hanson Public Library.~ There is also a recreation plan that we will try to attain.
6.~~~~~~ Reviewed an email sent by Stuart Signor asking our support of Senate Bill #5390 enhancing CPA in Massachusetts.
New Business
1.~~~~~~ Discussed the strategies on the process receiving grant proposals.
2.~~~~~~ Discussed a seminar on the new Conflict of Interest regulations, July 29th, at 6:30 at the Hanover Town Hall.
